GAME OVER

Hitting Instructions:
STEP 1: Press the blue READY button at the bottom right corner of the pitching field window to indicate to the computer that you are ready to receive its pitch.
STEP 2: The READY button will disappear. This indicates that you have about one second to prepare for the upcoming pitch.
STEP 3: The yellow SWING button will appear as the baseball begins moving toward the white home plate.
STEP 4: Press the yellow SWING button only when the baseball enters the home plate or grazes its black border in order to attempt a "swing" at the ball.
"Swinging" for the baseball while it is outside the home plate, whether prematurely or belatedly, will result in a "strike".
Failing to "swing" for a baseball that enters or grazes the home plate will result in a "strike". Three strikes within an at-bat will result in a strikeout.
Refraining from "swinging" for a baseball that completely misses the home plate, will result in a "ball". Four balls within an at-bat will result in a walk.
The outcome of a "successful swing" will depend on timing/location of the ball within the home plate as well as stochastic factors. Possible results are: foul ball,
groundout, flyout, single, double, triple, homer.

Pitching Instructions:
STEP 0: (Optional) The trajectory angle for every pitch you throw is initially pre-determined. But you can incrementally modify it as desired
by pressing the LEFT or RIGHT aim buttons. (Use the manouverable long yellow arrow located adjacent to the pitcher for aim guidance.)
STEP 1: The seven "baseball" buttons on the right side of the pitching field window
represent the types of pitches available to choose from. Press one of these buttons to "throw" that pitch.
STEP 2: The "baseball" buttons will momentarily disappear as the ball is being delivered to allow for processing and display of outcome.
STEP 3: When the "baseball" buttons reappear, you can repeat the process again for the next pitch.
Press this orange SKIP button only if you wish to skip or abbreviate the computer's turns at bat during an inning.
Pitching and hitting outcomes are determined by pitiching mix selection as well as stochastic factors.
"Strikes", "balls", and "swing results" are determined similarly to what was explained in the hitting instructions section.
